Level One Pilates Mat training provides you with the basics in Pilates history, principles, beginner series of exercises, and teaching strategy. No previous fitness or instruction experience needed. Learn pilates in your body and instruct a multilevel class safely, seamlessly and with confidence. Join Teacher Trainer, Samantha DeOrio, at FAU Campus Recreation and explore the Pilates method of exercise training.
- 3 days, 15 hour training course
- 1 practical evaluation + Four hours of self study
- Prerequisite for Level II Mat training
Dates: Feb. 23 - 25
Times: Friday = 1 - 6pm, Saturday = 12 - 5pm, Sunday = 12 - 5pm
